Welcome to Vanity Business! A platform designed specifically for business owners and staff to manage services, appointments and customer interactions. We're thrilled to have you with us, and we appreciate your trust in choosing our platform.

Below, you'll find key legal terms that apply to everyone visiting our website or using our services. These terms are in place to protect both you and us, allowing us to provide our services smoothly and securely for all users. Vanity Business offers a range of features, so certain parts of these terms might be more relevant to the specific services you choose.

 

We know that legal language can be challenging to get through, so we’ve aimed to make these terms as clear as possible. If you have any suggestions for improving them, feel free to contact us.

1. Introduction and Definitions


By accessing or using Vanity Business, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms of Service. These Terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you ("User") and Vanity Global Ltd ("Vanity Business" or "We"), governing the use of the Vanity Business platform and its services.

Definitions:

  • "Vanity Business", "Vanity" refers to the application and platform operated by Vanity

Global Ltd.

  • "User" refers to any individual using the Vanity Business application, including but not

limited to; un-registered users, registered business owners and staff.

  • "Service Provider", "Business owner" refers to individuals or entities registered to

offer services through Vanity Business.

  • "Booking", "Appointment" refers to a reservation for a service made through a Vanity

Global Ltd product (Vanity Global Ltd staff member, Vanity Global, Vanity Business).

  • "Account" refers to a user profile allowing access to platform features.

  • "Content" includes all data, reviews, images, and comments shared on Vanity

Business.

  • "Terms" or "Terms of Service" refer to this legal agreement governing platform usage.

2. Eligibility and Authorisation

2.1 Legal  Representation Requirement:

Only individuals who are legal business owners or have formal, written authorisation to

represent a business may register a business account on Vanity Business. Unauthorised

registrations may lead to account suspension, deletion, and potential legal action.

2.2 User Responsibility:

Business owners and staff are responsible for providing accurate and truthful information.

Failure to maintain accurate information may result in termination of the account.

​

2.3 Age Requirement:

Users must be at least 16 years of age to create an account or otherwise use the Vanity

Business platform. By using the platform, users confirm they meet this minimum age

requirement.

​

3.  Data Collection, Privacy, and user Consent 

​

3.1 Data Collection and Usage:

Vanity Business securely stores business details, appointment history, user details and payment

information. Data will be used solely to facilitate business operations, enhance service quality,

and improve customer interactions. Data will not be shared with third parties without user

consent, except where required for essential functionality.

3.2 GDPR Compliance and User Rights:

Users, Business owners and staff have rights under GDPR, including access, correction, and

deletion of data. Requests to exercise these rights can be made by contacting Vanity Global Ltd

support at support@vanityglobal.co.uk.

3.3 Caching and Tracking:

The app may use caching for performance optimisation. Users consent to caching by using the

app.

 

4. Apple-Specific End-User License Agreement (EULA) Provisions

​

4.1 Acknowledgment:

This EULA is concluded solely between the User and Vanity Business, not with Apple. Apple is

not responsible for the application's performance or content, and Vanity Business assumes all liability.

​

4.2 Scope of License:

The license granted to the User is non-transferable and permits use only on Apple-branded

products the User owns or controls.

​

4.3 Maintenance and Support:

Vanity Business is solely responsible for maintenance and support. Apple is not obligated to

provide any such services.

​

4.4 Warranty:

In case of any app performance issues, Users may contact Apple for a refund of the purchase

price, if applicable. Beyond this, Vanity Business assumes all warranty responsibility.

​

4.5 Product Claims:

Vanity Business, not Apple, is responsible for addressing User claims related to the application,

including liability, legal compliance, or consumer protection claims.

​

4.6 Third-Party Beneficiary:

Both User and Vanity Business acknowledge Apple as a third-party beneficiary with the right to

enforce this EULA.

​

5. Payment Processing and Refund Policies

​

5.1 Funds Withdrawals:

Businesses may withdraw their funds managed by stripe as they wish, however Vanity Global

Ltd reserves the right to set the withdrawal frequency as We see fit (this will not exceed one

calendar month).

​

5.2 Cancellation and No-Show Policies:

  • Customer Cancellations: Customers must cancel appointments at least 48 hours in

advance for a full refund of which the customer is liable for the payment processing fees

set by the payment gateway provider.

  • Rescheduling: Customers may reschedule appointments with the same staff member if

done at least 2 hours before the appointment. Customers may only do this once per

booking for free.

  • Business-Initiated Cancellations: If the business cancels, a full refund is provided,

covering processing fees. The business is liable for the processing fees.

5.3 No-Show Protection:

Full payment will be retained if the customer fails to attend without cancellation or rescheduling

within the designated timeframe.

 

6. Account Suspension or Termination

​

6.1 Discretionary Suspension/Deletion:

Vanity Business may suspend or delete any account at its discretion for any Terms or policy

violations or harmful behavior.

​

6.2 Notice of Account Actions:

Users will be notified of account actions when feasible and may request an explanation for the

action taken.

 

7. Dispute Resolution and Escalation

​

7.1 Business-Customer Dispute Process:

Disputes between business users, staff member users and customers should be resolved

directly through Vanity Business’s communication tools. Vanity Global Ltd reserves the right to

intervene at any time.

​

7.2 Escalation to Vanity Support:

If disputes cannot be resolved within the platform, business users may escalate to Vanity

Support for mediation. Vanity assumes no liability for outcomes.

 

8. Content Ownership and Marketing

​

8.1 Business-Generated Content:

Vanity Business reserves the right to use user-generated content, including reviews and photos

submitted within the app, for promotional purposes without additional consent.

​

8.2 Licensing:

By submitting content, Users, Businesses, Service providers grant Vanity Global Ltd a

perpetual, royalty-free license to use, modify, display, and distribute this content for marketing

and promotional purposes, including but not limited to advertising campaigns.

​

9. Limitation of Liability

​

9.1 Service Availability and Third-Party Disruptions:

Vanity Business is not liable for disruptions due to third-party services or technical failures.

Vanity Business does not guarantee continuous, error-free access to the platform and is not

liable for any disruptions resulting from third-party services or technical issues beyond its

control. Service continuity is not guaranteed.

9.2 Financial Liability Limits:

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Vanity Global Ltd. and its subsidiaries,

affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect,

incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of

profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising out of or in connection with your

use of, or inability to use, the Vanity Business platform. Vanity Global Ltd.’s total liability for

claims related to the platform is capped at £50.

10. Terms of Service Updates

​

10.1 Right to Update: 

Vanity Business reserves the right to periodically update these Terms. Users agree to review

updates, and continued use implies acceptance of the revised or new terms.

​

10.2 Notification of Changes:

Significant updates to the Terms will be communicated to users via in-app notifications, email,

or other methods deemed feasible by Vanity Global. Vanity Global Ltd reserves the right not to

explicitly notify users of updates if We see it as unfeasible.
