Welcome to Vanity Global! A consumer-facing application designed to facilitate service bookings with various service providers within the beauty industry. We're thrilled to have you with us, and we appreciate your trust in choosing our platform.

Below, you'll find key legal terms that apply to everyone visiting our website or using our services. These terms are in place to protect both you and us, allowing us to provide our services smoothly and securely for all users. Vanity Global offers a range of features, so certain parts of these terms might be more relevant to the specific services you choose.

1. Introduction and Definitions

1.1 Introduction:
​By accessing or using Vanity Global, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms of Service. These Terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you (the "User") and Vanity Global Ltd ("Vanity Global" “Vanity” or "We"), governing the use of the Vanity Global platform and its services.

1.2 Definitions:

"Vanity Global", “Vanity” refers to the mobile application and platform operated by Vanity Global Ltd.

"User", “Customer” refers to any individual accessing or using Vanity Global.

"Service Provider", "Business owner" refers to registered businesses or individuals offering services through Vanity Global.

"Booking", "Appointment" refers to a reservation made through Vanity Global for a service.

"Account" is the user profile enabling access to platform features.

"Content" includes all data, reviews, images, and comments shared on Vanity Global.

"Terms" or "Terms of Service" refer to this legal agreement governing platform usage.

2. Eligibility and Age Requirement

2.1 Legal Age Requirement:
Users must be at least 16 years of age to create an account or otherwise use the Vanity Global platform. By accessing or using the platform, Users confirm that they meet this minimum age requirement.

2.2 Account Registration and User Responsibility:
Users must provide accurate and truthful information when registering an account and must keep this information up-to-date. Users are responsible for safeguarding their login information and are liable for any activity under their account.

3. Data Collection, Privacy and User Consent

3.1 Data Collection and Usage:
Vanity Global securely stores personal data, booking history, and payment information. Data will be used solely to enhance the user experience, enable bookings, and facilitate customer interactions with service providers. Data will not be shared with third parties without user consent, except as required to enable app functions and essential functionality.

3.2 GDPR Compliance and User Rights:
Users have rights under GDPR, including access to, correction of, and deletion of their data. Requests to exercise these rights can be made by contacting Vanity Global Ltd support at support@vanityglobal.co.uk.

3.3 Caching and Tracking:
The app may use caching and tracking technologies to optimise performance. By using Vanity Global, users consent to caching as part of the app experience.
4. Apple-Specific End-User License Agreement (EULA) Provisions

4.1 Acknowledgement:
This EULA is concluded solely between the User and Vanity Global Ltd, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the application's performance or content, and Vanity Global Ltd assumes all liability.

4.2 Scope of License:
The license granted to the User is non-transferable and permits use only on Apple- branded products the User owns or controls, as permitted by Apple’s App Store Terms of Service.

4.3 Maintenance and Support:
Vanity Global Ltd is solely responsible for maintenance and support of the app. Apple is
not obligated to provide any such services.

4.4 Warranty:
In case of any app performance issues, Users may contact Apple for a refund of the
purchase price, if applicable. Beyond this, Vanity Global Ltd assumes all warranty
responsibility.

4.5 Product Claims:
Vanity Global Ltd, not Apple, is responsible for addressing any User claims related to the application, including liability, legal compliance, or consumer protection claims.

4.6 Third-Party Beneficiary:
Both User and Vanity Global Ltd acknowledge Apple as a third-party beneficiary with the right to enforce this EULA against the User.
5. Booking,Payments, and Refund Policies

5.1 Booking Requirements:
Users must complete payment to secure bookings with service providers on the platform. All bookings are subject to provider availability and any applicable cancellation policies. Users must pay for bookings no later than 14 days prior to the appointment time. If the appointment is less than 14 days from the date the booking is made, then full payment must be paid immediately.

5.2 Payments Processing:
Payments are processed through third-party services, including. Vanity Global assumes no liability for disruptions or errors caused by these payment processors.

5.3 Cancellation and No-Show Policies:

User Cancellations: Users must cancel appointments at least 48 hours in advance for a full refund, for which the customer is liable for the payment processing fees set by the payment gateway provider.

Rescheduling: Users may reschedule an appointment at least 2 hours before the start time with the same service provider. Only one rescheduling per booking is allowed without additional fees.

No-Show Policy: Full payment is retained if the user does not attend without prior cancellation or rescheduling within the designated timeframes. Vanity Global Ltd reserves the right to make the final decision.

6. User Conduct and Prohibited Activities
​
6.1 Prohibited Activities:
Users are prohibited from engaging in fraudulent bookings, abusive behavior, or any activities that compromise the integrity of the platform or the safety of service providers. Vanity Global reserves the right to take action, including suspension or termination of accounts, if users violate these conduct standards.

6.2 Content Standards:
User-generated content, such as reviews, must comply with community standards and must not include offensive, false, or misleading information.
7. Dispute Resolution and Escalation

7.1 Customer-Provider Dispute Process:
Disputes between Users and service providers should be resolved directly through the communication tools available in Vanity Global. Vanity Global Ltd reserves the right to intervene at its discretion but assumes no liability for dispute outcomes.

7.2 Escalation to Vanity Support:
If a dispute remains unresolved, Users may escalate the issue to Vanity Support for mediation. However, Vanity Global Ltd assumes no liability for dispute outcomes and will act as a neutral party.
8. Content Ownership and Marketing

8.1 User-Generated Content:
Vanity Global reserves the right to use user-generated content, including reviews and photos submitted within the app, for promotional purposes without additional consent.

8.2 Licensing:
By submitting content within the app, Users grant Vanity Global a perpetual, royalty-free license to use, modify, display, and distribute this content for marketing and promotional purposes.

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1 Service Availability and Third-Party Disruptions:
Vanity Global is not liable for disruptions due to third-party services or technical failures. Vanity Global does not guarantee continuous, error-free access to the platform and is not liable for any disruptions resulting from third party services or technical issues beyond its control.

9.2 Financial Liability Limits:
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vanity Global Ltd. and its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising from or related to platform use. Vanity Global Ltd.’s total liability for claims related to the platform is capped at £50.
10. Terms of Service Updates

10.1 Right to Update:
Vanity Global reserves the right to update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the platform after updates indicates acceptance of the revised or new Terms.

10.2 Notification of Changes:
Significant updates to the Terms will be communicated to users via in-app notifications, email, or other methods deemed feasible by Vanity Global. Vanity Global Ltd reserves the right not to explicitly notify users of updates if deemed unfeasible.
